Grade 9 Is Amazing.

I haven’t updated my blog in so long, I guess I’ve just been side-tracked, reading dictionaries and things.

School’s started again. I’m in Grade 9. It’s so much easier than I would have expected. All of my subjects and teachers are totally amazing this year. Art, which is my favorite subject, has gotten even better. Math is actually understandable. English is fun, with all of our free-writes that go on for about 5 minutes. Science is AMAZING, considering we have Mr. St. Peter, who is a legitimate ninja who is obsessed with W.O.W. Social Studies, still not my favorite, is much better considering my cousin is teaching it. Tech. Education is weird, but better none the less. French is good because Mrs. Martell-Ferdinand is back.

Even Healthy Living (PDR) is better! My art teacher (my favorite teacher) is teaching it, which may sound weird but she’s actually teaching it really well! She got a guest in to talk to us about healthy eating and exercise. We taste tested some things made with avocados and believe it or not, it tasted so good! Pita Pizza and Chocolate mousse made with avocados! Who would have thought?

Physical Ed. is WAAY better than last year. We get to use our weight room, fully furnished with a universal exercise machine, bench press, Bow-Flex, some type of machine that helps builds pectorals and a punching bag with mitts. Not to mention hand weights, skipping ropes, yoga-balls, curve bar weights, medicine balls and some other weird things that help build your arms. It’s amazing! There’s this one thing I’m really good at; where you’re suspended by your arms and you lift your legs out straight. It’s hard to do but I’m pretty good at it.

Sorry I haven’t blogged in a little while. I’ve been busy.

Yesterday I went to Halifax. Going out to town always gives me culture shock. There are so many people who are black, asian, etc. and here’s me, the little caucasian. I wanna go up to them and talk but I always get a feeling that I’ll say something wrong and they’ll be like, “RACIST!!!”

I got a phone lately. Lg Keybo 2. I’ve been texting non-stop and it’s a little crazy. It’s almost as if it’s surgically implanted into my hand. Oops.

This is like, my favorite song. I don’t even know why because it’s just so amazing.

Art and Pogobat: My Two Main Obbsesions

Art. It’s basically my life. Most things I do have something to do with art, or something else I love, but mostly art.

When I began to discover my art talent was when I was 5. I watched Disney Princess movies, not for the princess-ness but for the beautiful colours. After Disney Princess, it was movies like Alice in Wonderland (the first version), A Bugs Life, Monsters Inc., and other movies like that. It’s the colour that caught my eye.

Recently I’ve been sketching manga and portraits of things and people. I painted a watercolor picture today of the red maple tree in my backyard.

It’s basically a blend of colors and it looks much better in real life.

Another thing that I’ve been getting into is “pogobat” on YouTube; Dan Brown in other words. He posted his big project video the other day and MAN, I AM SO TAKING PART IN THAT. I’m part of the Pogotribe on the “South Pole of the Moon.” Dan recently revealed his secret project at vidcon. He is putting his life in the hands of his fellow tribespeople. We submit ideas and the most popular ones will flourish while the least popular ones will sink to the bottom and disappear.

Today, I went swimming with one of my besties. I loove her.

Sorry I haven’t updated in the past few days. I’ve been busy.

Good news; I got a phone. Yes, a cell phone. It’s amazing. I’m texting non-stop. I’m probably texting while you read this. FTW.

Sooo.. It’s really summer-ry now. I went swimming so much today. My eyes are all swelled up from all the salt that’s in them. IT IS CRAP AND I WANT IT TO GO AWAY. But the swimming was amazing. i was diving and flipping off of my neighbor’s dock so much. It was amazing. And now I have Stash Licorice Tea and it is amazing. I cannot get enough… AND OHMYGOSH I JUST RAN OUT AND IT IS TERRIBLE NEWS.

ColorMeChase is the best. YouTuber. EVAR. I can’t stop watching his videos. HE IS AMAZING.

Dealings and Such.

I did so much frigging laundry yesterday. Mom didn’t even tell me to, so I feel all warm and mushy inside.  But that may just be my internal organs.

I have good news: Shelby Maxine Brown and I are now friends again. We’d been friends for 9 years and then as Evan Vandewiel would say, “Shit hit the fan,” and we weren’t talking anymore. It was like, I don’t know, best friend isolation for two months and it sucked. But then we got talking again. We hung out together yesterday. It was quite nice.:)

I found this song that I think is really amazing. It’s called “Trinity,” by Paper Tongues. I really like it, but then again, I do like some different music.

It’s actually really good. Well, to me anyways.

Personally, in all of this hot weather, I think we need more rain. I really like the rain. It’s refreshing and it keeps plants and things of that sort from drying out. And if there were no plants and trees and things like that, we’d have no oxygen. And if there’s no oxygen then we’d all be dead and there would probably be no life on Earth.

Basically what I’m trying to say is that I love rain.
